Interfaith Seder: "What Enslaves Us, What Frees Us?" Tuesday, March 30, 6:30-8:30 pm Camp Brotherhood, Arlington. Click for Directions. Led by Rabbi Ted Falcon, with Pastor Don Mackenzie, Jamal Rahman and Father Bill Treacy enriching the Jewish ritual with wisdom from their own traditions.Experience how this pilgrimage to freedom can deepen the Holy Week for Christians, the Passover Season for Jews, and the spiritual journey of Muslims and others. Mount Fuji, Japan “Symphony of Peace Prayers” Sunday, May 16 Fuji Sanctuary
An interreligious, interspiritual annual peace prayer event, first held in 2005. At the core is its unique prayer ceremony, in which representatives from various world faiths and spiritual traditions lead participants in their own prayers for peace. In 2007, the Symphony of Peace Prayers linked with the large-scale Global Peace Meditation and Prayer Day event, leading in 2008 to the first SOPP ceremonies held outside Japan. Together we will discover, grow, and be transformed by the sacred history and current culture of Israel and Palestine. Together we will contribute contemplative gifts of peace to Israel and Palestine with our prayers and presence.
